Rotary tool battery won't charge – any fixes?

Hey everyone, my Dremel 7700 won't charge. The light on the charger stays green even when the battery is dead. I've tried different outlets. Anyone else had this issue or know a cheap fix?

Classic Dremel charger issue. Check the contacts on the charger and battery for dirt/corrosion. Clean with alcohol. If that doesn't work, it's likely a dead battery cell.
