I'm in CA and this is nuts. We already have high taxes and regulations. Adding more is just gonna push companies to Texas or Nevada. I see it in my line of work - contractors are already leaving.

Taxing the rich sounds good in theory, but if they leave, who's gonna fund all the programs? Plus, small biz like mine gets hit hard by indirect costs. I'm all for fair taxes but this seems short-sighted.

Back in the day, CA was the place for business. Now it's a mess. I've seen too many shops close. This tax is just another nail in the coffin. Vote with your feet, I guess.

I'm just a weekend warrior with a sander, but even I feel the pinch. Gas prices, materials cost... everything's up. If big corps leave, jobs dry up. Not good for anyone needing a new deck.
