Billionaire tax: gonna affect our tools?

Saw this and thought of you guys. I'm no economist, but if businesses flee CA, that might hit the tool supply chain. Thoughts?

I'm in CA and I've already seen some suppliers move to NV. It's not just tools - everything gets more expensive when companies leave. Hope they reconsider.

As a DIYer, I just want affordable sandpaper! lol but seriously, if prices go up, my projects get delayed. They should tax the rich in a way that doesn't hurt us regular folks.

I'm on the fence. I get wanting to tax the ultra-rich, but if they leave, we lose jobs and tax revenue. My buddy's shop moved to Texas last year. It's a mess.
