Hey guys, just a friendly reminder: wear a respirator when sanding! I had a buddy skip it, now he's coughing like crazy. Not worth it.

Good call Paul. I use a 3M half-face with P100 filters. Cheap insurance for your lungs. Plus, no more boogers full of sawdust.

totally agree! I also wear safety glasses AND a face shield when I'm using my belt sander. one time a knot flew off and hit my cheek, lucky I had the shield.

Pete, you're right. I've had dust get in my eyes even with glasses. Might grab a shield too.

Oh, and don't forget hearing protection. Sanders are loud. I use those foam earplugs, they're cheap and work.
