Just saw this article on preparing for concrete cutting in Georgia. Sounds like a big job. Anyone here done concrete cutting with a saw? I'm mostly wood but curious.

Yeah, I've done a few concrete cuts for pipe runs. Important to plan out the cuts and mark utilities. That article seems basic but solid advice. Diamond blades are a must.

I've restored old industrial floors and we had to cut expansion joints. Dust control is huge – wet cutting helps but messes up your boots. Also, check local codes: Georgia might require permits for deep cuts.

I'd rent a gas-powered saw for that. My little circular saw wouldn't cut it, haha. Anyway, make sure you got earpro – those things are loud.

Good points all. Thanks for the insights! I might stick to wood for now.
