Hey everyone, my Dewalt 60V Max circular saw is stalling when I try to cut 2x12 oak. Battery's fully charged (shows 3 bars). I swapped to a new Diablo blade but still stalls. It's like the motor can't keep up. Any ideas? I'm a weekend warrior so not super experienced.

Tim, first check if the blade is on the right way. I've done that lol. Also, are you pushing too hard? Let the saw do the work. If it's still stalling, could be the battery is going bad even if it shows charge. Try another battery if you have one.

Sounds like a trigger issue or maybe the brushes are worn. What model? Also, oak is tough – make sure you're using a 24-tooth or lower ripping blade, not a crosscut. Could be the saw's not powerful enough for deep rips in hardwood. Have you cleaned the vents? Overheating can cause stalling.

+1 on cleaning vents. Also check the depth setting – if the blade's too deep it drags. And make sure the riving knife if equipped isn't stuck. I had a similar issue with my Makita and it was just a loose arbor nut. Tighten it firm but not crazy.
