Hey guys, I found a DeWalt DWE7491RS on Craigslist for $350. Looks barely used. I've been needing a portable saw for site work. Good deal or should I pass?

That's a steal if it's in good shape. Just make sure to check the arbor for runout and the fence alignment. Those are the two things that go wrong with used saws. Bring a square and a straight edge.

I'd jump on it. That saw retails for $600. Even if you need to replace the blade and tune it up, you're still ahead. I've had mine for 5 years, no issues.

Thanks guys. I'll go check it out tomorrow. Anything specific to look for on the DWE7491?

Yeah, make sure the riving knife and guard are there. Lotta people toss those. And pull the arbor lock to see if it's smooth. If it grinds, the bearings might be shot.
