Hey folks! Just saw this article about scheduling concrete cutting in Georgia. I'm about to start a project that requires a lot of cutting, and I'm wondering how far in advance I should book. Any thoughts?

From my experience, depends on the time of year. Spring and fall are busy, so book a month ahead if you can. Also, check if they need permits, that can add time. Good luck!

Speaking as a safety inspector, make sure the crew has proper dust control. Silica dust is no joke. Also, verify they have the right PPE and training. Scheduling is one thing, but safety first!

I've done a few of these. A tip: ask about their saw blade condition and if they have backup. Nothing worse than a dull blade mid-cut. And don't forget to mark utilities before they start. Been there, done that!
