Hey everyone, just wanted to share a quick tip. Yesterday I was about to rip some 2x4s on my table saw when I noticed the riving knife was misaligned. Good thing I caught it before kicking back a board. Always do a quick blade guard/riving knife check before powering up. Stay safe out there!

Good one Gary. I'll add another: invest in a good push stick or push blocks. I've seen too many close calls with people using scrap wood or their hands. Also, those magnetic featherboards are a lifesaver for stability.

Yup, safety first. I always use my Dewalt saw with the guard in place – no compromises. Also, wear eye and ear protection every time. Tinnitus is no joke. What PPE do you guys use for dust?

I use a 3M respirator with P100 filters and a shop vac hooked up for dust extraction. Also, a bluetooth earmuff combo so I can still listen to tunes. What's your setup Dan?

I've got a cheap dust mask but I'm thinking of upgrading. Heard good things about the Trend Airshield. Anyone tried it?
