Just a friendly reminder to always wear your ear protection when using any saw, even for a quick cut. I know it's tempting to just 'rip a quick board' without them, but tinnitus is no joke. I've been dealing with a constant ringing for years now, and it sucks. Protect your hearing, people!

Preach, Steve! I always keep a pair of those foam earplugs in my shop apron. Also, if you're using a circular saw, make sure to wear safety glasses too. I've had chips fly up and hit me right in the face. Better safe than sorry.

Absolutely. I've been in the woodworking game for over 30 years and I've seen too many guys lose hearing or get injured because they were 'only making one cut.' Invest in some good muffs or plugs, they're cheap compared to a lifetime of hearing aids.

Exactly! And if you're using a table saw, don't forget a push stick or a push block to keep your fingers away from the blade. Safety first, always.
