Hey folks, came across this article about scheduling concrete cutting in Georgia. Seems like a lot of prep work. Any of you done this before? What kind of saw do you use for big jobs like that? Here's the link: https://example.com/article

I've done quite a bit of concrete cutting in GA. For large slabs, you can't beat a Stihl TS 800. That thing is a beast, cuts through rebar like butter. Worth the price if you're doing it regularly.

Stihl? Too pricey for me. I get by with a Husqvarna K 770. It's half the cost and does the job. Just gotta keep the blade sharp and go slow on thick stuff.

You guys are missing the point. It's not just about the saw, it's about the blade and the cut depth. I set up a laser guide and measure twice. Even a cheap saw can make a perfect cut if you prep right. I use a Makita 4100NH3 for most cuts, but I modify the base plate for better accuracy.

Awesome feedback! I'm leaning towards renting for a one-off job, but good to know what to look for. Any tips on scheduling with the weather in Georgia? That humidity is killer.
