Just read this article about 12 gadgets for handymen. Some look pretty neat, but a few seem gimmicky. What do you guys think? Anyone tried any of these?

I skimmed the list. The digital torque wrench and the laser level are legit. I have the torque wrench and it's super precise, helps avoid stripping bolts. The rest are kinda meh. The 'smart hammer'? Really? I'll stick to my regular one.

I'm a sucker for new tools. I got that automatic wire stripper from a similar list, and it's actually decent for production work. But the 'self-leveling cross-line laser'? Overpriced. I have a cheap one from harbor freight that does the same job.

As an apprentice, I appreciates the list but I'm on a budget. That multi-bit ratcheting screwdriver caught my eye. Is it worth the $40? Or should I just buy a good set of individual drivers?

@PowerToolPete134 I have that screwdriver! It's actually handy for quick jobs, but for heavy use, get a set. The ratcheting mechanism is smooth, but it's bulky. For $40, I'd rather get a set of Wera or Felo drivers. You'll get better ergonomics and fit.
