Hey guys, stumbled upon a full set of Stanley '100 Plus' screwdrivers at a garage sale. All matching, no rust, felt good in hand. Guy wanted $30, I talked him down to $20. Worth it for the collection or should I pass? Need some input before I pull the trigger.

Dude, that's a great deal! I use Stanley 100 Plus at work (woodworking) and they hold up to daily abuse. For $20, even if they're just for the drawer, it's solid. But then again, I'm a sucker for a matched set. Just make sure they aren't the cheap chinesium ones—those have a different handle texture.

I agree with DrillMaster, Stanley 100 Plus are workhorses. I restored a set from the 70s last year, and after a bit of oil and handle cleaning, they're as good as new. For $20 you can't go wrong. Even if you don't use them, they'll sell for more on eBay if you ever want to flip them. Grab 'em!

Thanks fellas! They did feel solid, no wobble or anything. I'll go back tomorrow and snag them. Maybe I'll even use them for my next plumbing job... if I can bring myself to get them dirty lol. Appreciate the advice!
