Found this vintage Craftsman screwdriver set at a garage sale for $5. They're the old USA-made ones with the red and yellow handles. A couple have some rust on the tips but the handles are solid. Should I clean 'em up or just flip 'em? Never really used these older models.

Dude, that's a score! Those old Craftsman screwdrivers are the bomb. The steel is way better than the new junk. I'd say clean 'em up with some vinegar on the rust and a wire brush. They'll last you a lifetime. Don't flip 'em, use 'em!

Agreed with Chris. I still have a set my dad gave me from the 80s. The tips are still perfect after all these years. Only thing I'd add is be careful with the handles if they're the acetate ones - they can crack if you bang on 'em. But for $5, that's a no-brainer.

Lucky find! I'm jealous lol. I'd say keep 'em and use 'em. You can put new tips on if needed, but those handles are classic. Just don't use them as prybars and they'll serve you well. Post pics when you get 'em cleaned up!
