Harbor Freight Coupon Deals - Worth It?

Just saw this on the news - up to 50% off at Harbor Freight. Is it actually good stuff or just cheap tools? I'm thinking of picking up a new drill, any thoughts?

I've bought a few things from there. The Pittsburgh stuff is okay for occasional use, but if you're a pro, you'll want the higher end like Icon or Hercules. But for the price, you can't beat it. I got a 1/2 inch impact wrench there and it's held up fine.

I'm all for Harbor Freight but only for the basics. Their warranties are great though - you break it, they replace it no questions asked. Just don't expect Snap-on quality. For DIY, it's perfect.

I'm a contractor and I've used their stuff on jobs. Honestly, some of it is surprisingly good. The new Icon line is comparable to truck brands at a fraction of the cost. But you gotta pick and choose. Buy their low-end stuff if you don't use it daily, but invest in the good stuff if it's your bread and butter.

Thanks for the input everyone! I think I'll check out the Icon line. Any specific recommendations for a drill/impact driver set?
