Hey guys, found a Milwaukee M12 2401-20 screwdriver on clearance at Home Depot for $60. It's the brushed model, not Fuel. I do light electrical work and cabinets. Good deal or pass? Let me know!

Dude, $60 is a steal for Milwaukee! Even if it's brushed, it's still a solid tool. I've got the Fuel version and love it. For light work, you'll be fine. Jump on it!

I'd pass. Brushed motors are outdated and less efficient. For $60 you can almost get a Makita or Dewalt brushless on sale. Plus Milwaukee's chuck on that model is notorious for slipping. Wait for a better deal IMO.

Hmm, thanks guys. Tim I'm leaning your way since it's for light use, but Carl you make good points. Anyone else have experience with that model?

I've installed hundreds of outlets with my Fuel, but a buddy has the brushed one for 3 years no issues. For $60 it's a no-brainer. Worst case, return it if it sucks. Milwaukee warranty is solid.
