Blood tests for Alzheimer’s? What’s this doing in Specialty Tools?

Hey guys, found this article about C2N Diagnostics partnering in South Korea for Alzheimer’s blood tests. Seems like a big deal for early detection. But I’m wondering, is this even relevant here? Felt like sharing since it’s a ‘specialty tool’ in a way. What do y’all think?

Interesting, but I’m not sure how this fits in a power tools forum. That said, I’ve got a buddy whose dad has Alzheimer’s, and early diagnosis would’ve been huge. So maybe it’s a tool for doctors? Still, kinda off-topic for us.

I’m with Rick, it’s a bit out there for a woodworking forum lol. But I can see the ‘specialty tool’ angle—like a diagnostic instrument. Honestly, any advance in detecting this disease is good news. Hope it helps folks get treated sooner.

Fair points. I guess I just wanted to see if anyone else has heard about these blood tests. My grandpa had Alzheimer’s, so it hit home. Maybe I should’ve posted in the ‘Off-Topic’ section? Mods, feel free to move it.
