Hey guys, just spotted a killer deal at my local Home Depot - the Dewalt 20V Max XR Impact Driver (DCF887) is on sale for $99 with a free 2Ah battery! I've been eyeing this for a while. Should I pull the trigger? I'm a weekend warrior, so I don't need pro-grade, but this seems like a steal. Thoughts?

That's a solid price, Tim. I've used the DCF887 on job sites for years - it's a workhorse. For $99, that's a no-brainer. Even if you're a weekend warrior, you'll appreciate the power and speed. Grab it before it's gone.

I'm all about budget, and $99 for that impact driver is a good deal. But don't forget to factor in the cost of batteries and charger if you don't have them. That free 2Ah is small, but it's a start. If you have other 20V tools, this is a steal. I'd say go for it.

I've got that exact model in my garage. It's got great torque for removal, and the three-speed settings are handy. Just be careful not to strip screws on speed 3 - it's a beast! For that price, I'd buy another as a backup. Do it!

Thanks for the input, guys! I just picked it up. Can't wait to try it out on my next project. Steve, you're right about the power - it's like a mini demolition tool! Pete, I already have a couple of 20V batteries from my drill, so I'm set. Sarah, thanks for the tip on speed settings - I'll try to use some self-tapping screws for the first time. Appreciate the help!
