Hey all, just wanted to share a quick safety tip. Yesterday I was using my angle grinder without safety glasses (I know, stupid) and a small piece of metal flew up and hit me right in the eye. Luckily it just grazed my eyelid, but man, that could've been bad. I've been doing this for 20 years and I got complacent. Now I'm ordering a pair of these anti-fog safety glasses from Amazon. Don't be like me!

Ouch, Tim! Glad you're okay. I've done that too - rushed a job and didn't grab the glasses. Now I keep a pair in my truck, in the garage, and even by the front door. Can't afford to lose an eye, plus ER visits are expensive! What kind did you order? I'm looking for a cheap but decent pair.

As a precision guy, I never skip PPE. My rule: if the tool makes a spark, a chip, or dust, glasses are on. Also, invest in some good ones that fit well. Nothing worse than foggy glasses when you're trying to make a precise cut. I use a pair with a foam seal - they never fog up.

Felix, I got the 3M ones, they're like $15 on Amazon. Worth it. Steve, yeah, foam seal is the way to go. I'll upgrade to those once these come in. And yeah, I'm making a rule: no work without glasses, period.
