Hey guys, was browsing the clearance section at Home Depot and spotted a Bosch GST160B jigsaw for $79! Original price was like $200. It's the barrel-grip version, not the top-handle. I've been wanting a decent jigsaw for some furniture projects. Should I pull the trigger? Anyone used this model?

Dude, $79 for a Bosch jigsaw is a steal. I have the top-handle version and use it daily on job sites. The GST160B is solid - variable speed, orbital action, and the barrel grip gives you more control for curves. Just make sure it's not a refurb or missing parts. If it's new in box, grab it. You won't regret it.

Bosch makes some of the best jigsaws in the market. I've got an older model that's been through hell and still cuts like a champ. That price is crazy low. I'd check if it comes with the L-BOXX case or just bare tool? Either way, for 80 bucks, it's a no-brainer. Buy it before someone else scoops it up.

I scored a similar deal on that same model last year. It's a fantastic saw - smooth cuts, low vibration, and the blade change is tool-less. You'll love it for furniture work. One thing though: the barrel grip takes some getting used to if you've only used top-handles. But once you adjust, it's more accurate. Jump on it!
