Hey all, saw this article about Oil-Dri hitting record Q2 revenues. I know they make cat litter and absorbents, but do any of you use their stuff for shop cleanup or oil spills? Just curious if this is good news for us tool guys.

Interesting! I've used their oil absorbent in my workshop for years. Works great on hydraulic leaks. Higher revenues might mean they're expanding, so maybe new products? Bet they're selling more to industrial users though.

Hold up, I thought Oil-Dri was all about cat litter? But yeah, I've seen their granular absorbent at Home Depot. Record revenue is a good sign they ain't going bankrupt, so prices might stay stable. Still, I'd stick to generic stuff for spills.

As an apprentice I'm just learning about proper cleanup. I use kitty litter for oil drips from my car, but is Oil-Dri better? Tim, thanks for sharing. I'll check out the article for tips.
