Short sellers bailing on Greenlane? Any impact on tool prices?

So I saw this article about Greenlane Holdings short interest dropping 80% in February. I'm not a stock guy, but I know they own brands like Zig-Zag and Marley Natural. Does this mean anything for our wallets? I'm always looking for deals on specialty tools, and I heard they might have some cool accessories.

Back in my day, we didn't track short interest, we just bought what we could afford at the hardware store. But I've seen companies' stock prices drop before, and sometimes they clear out inventory cheap. If Greenlane is in trouble, maybe they'll have a fire sale on their stuff. Keep an eye out for discounts on their rolling trays or grinders, though I'm more interested in a new table saw myself.

Haha Steve, always thinking about table saws! But honestly, short interest doesn't really affect the price of physical tools. It's more about investor sentiment. However, if the company is struggling, they might cut costs by reducing production, which could potentially impact supply. But let's be real, I'm not holding my breath for a killer sale on Greenlane products. They're more known for lifestyle stuff, not power tools. Still, interesting news for the market.

I guess you're right. I just saw 'short interest' and thought it might mean they're going out of business or something. But it's actually a drop, meaning fewer people are betting against them. So maybe they're doing better? Anyway, I'll keep an eye out for any deals, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
