Building a Deck – Which Wrench Set Should I Get?

Hey folks, I'm about to start building a 12x16 deck in my backyard. I've got the basics, but I need a good wrench set for the bolts and lag screws. I'm on a budget but want something reliable. Any recommendations? I've been looking at a few sets online but can't decide between SAE and metric, or if I need both.

Get a set that has both, or two separate sets. I've been using a Craftsman set for years, they last forever. Also, don't forget a ratcheting wrench set – they save so much time when you're tightening bolts in tight spots. Harbor Freight has some decent cheap ones that work fine for occasional use.

I gotta chime in – if you want quality that'll last, go with Snap-on or Mac. They're pricey, but you'll never need to buy another set.
