Just saw this news about Barrow Hanley selling a bunch of Enerpac shares. $EPAC dropped a bit today. Anyone think this affects their tool quality or warranty? I've been eyeing their hydraulic jacks.

Probably just a portfolio rebalance. Enerpac makes solid industrial tools, don't see it changing anything. Their safety standards are top-notch. Focus on the tools, not the stock ticker.

I wouldn't worry about share sales affecting the tools themselves. Enerpac has been around for ages. Their torque wrenches are still the gold standard. Just make sure you buy from authorized dealers to avoid counterfeits.

Wait, Enerpac makes tools? I thought they just did hydraulic systems. Learn something new every day. I'm more of a DeWalt guy myself, but their stuff looks pricey.

Institutional investors shuffle positions all the time. Doesn't mean the company is in trouble. Their tools are used in heavy industry, so unless they start cutting corners on materials, I wouldn't sweat it. That said, I'd still rather buy Proto or Snap-on for hand tools.
