Just read this article about Harley no longer including tool kits with new bikes. I get that modern bikes are more reliable, but what if you break down in the middle of nowhere? Seems like a cost-cutting move to me. Thoughts?

Honestly, those OEM tool kits were junk anyway. The wrenches were cheap stamped metal and the screwdrivers rounded off after one use. I always replaced mine with a proper set of Craftsman or Snap-On tools. But I get the nostalgia factor.

Safety first! If you don't have the right tools for roadside repairs, you could end up causing more damage or putting yourself at risk. I always carry a proper emergency kit with a torque wrench and breaker bar. Harley's decision forces riders to think ahead, which is a good thing in my book.

I'm new to Harleys and didn't even know they used to come with tool kits. My bike is a 2023 and I just assumed you needed to buy your own. Does anyone know a good compact kit that fits under the seat?
